Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, providing primary and emergency care, collaborating on care plans, and guiding ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
This role requires adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations, with access to sensitive information based on a “need to know” basis.
