The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing both primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Certification in BLS and ACLS is required, along with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The role involves access to sensitive health information, requiring adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies.
