Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit provides compassionate patient care, ensuring a caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
  • Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Salary ranges from $33.00/hr to $63.98/hr. The role emphasizes quality improvement, confidentiality, and professional standards.
