Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit provides compassionate patient care, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Excellent communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are required.
Salary ranges from $33.00/hr to $63.98/hr.
