Job Description
Work in the Operating Room as a Registered Nurse (RN), with new graduates welcome, on day shifts in Albany, NY. Salary ranges from $76,396.32 to $126,730.61.
Assess, plan, coordinate, and manage surgical patients’ needs throughout their care episodes, ensuring smooth transitions and discharge.
Act as the patient advocate during surgeries, ensuring compassionate, competent care for patients, staff, and referring facilities.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, and document according to policies and regulations.
Evaluate patient responses, apply sound nursing judgment, and guide ancillary personnel.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, NYS RN license, BLS certification, and preferred 1-3 years of surgical experience.
Must demonstrate knowledge of quality concepts and support quality improvement initiatives.
The facility features advanced surgical suites, robotic technology, specialty rooms, hybrid operating rooms, and intraoperative imaging.
This role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards.
