Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit provides patient care coordination, assessment, and management throughout the care episode, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating on care plans.
Ensures compassionate, competent patient care across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings, supervising ancillary staff.
Qualifications include nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical, telemetry, or ICU experience.
Strong knowledge of quality improvement principles and commitment to continuing education are essential.
The role may involve handling sensitive information per HIPAA and privacy regulations.
