Job Description
This Night shift RN role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit involves assessing, planning, and coordinating patient care to support timely discharge and smooth care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing emergency and primary care.
The RN collaborates with the team to develop and guide care plans, supervises ancillary staff, and ensures compassionate, competent care.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
The unit is a 29-bed cardiology ward serving adult patients with various cardiac diagnoses, requiring telemetry monitoring post-procedures.
Salary ranges from $76,396.32 to $126,730.61 annually, with an hourly range of $36.73 to $60.93.
