Job Description
This RN role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Provides primary and emergency care, administers medications, performs treatments, and interprets diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, valid NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
The 29-bed unit serves adult patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses, requiring telemetry monitoring after procedures.
Work hours are night shifts, with a salary range of $76,396.32 – $126,730.61, and an hourly range of $36.73 – $60.93.
Must ensure patient data confidentiality per HIPAA and institutional policies.
