Job Description
This night shift Registered Nurse role in a Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care to support discharge and transitions within the hospital stay.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to create and execute patient care plans, directs ancillary staff, and ensures high-quality, compassionate care.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred prior experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
The unit is a 29-bed cardiac unit serving adult patients with various cardiac diagnoses, requiring telemetry monitoring.
The role requires adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards regarding sensitive patient information.
