This Night shift RN position in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care to promote recovery and safe transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute personalized care plans, directing ancillary staff and ensuring professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
The 29-bed unit serves patients with cardiac and medical conditions, requiring telemetry monitoring after procedures, with ages from 18 to over 100.
This role requires safeguarding sensitive information according to privacy regulations and organizational policies.
