Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs, respond to care requirements, and apply sound nursing judgment for both primary and emergency interventions.
Collaborate with the team to develop and follow care plans, guide ancillary staff, and ensure professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential. The role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and adhering to relevant regulations.
