Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills. The role may require access to sensitive information, with strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies.
