Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment for care management.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Must have a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), a current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving is essential.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely according to privacy regulations.
