Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement care plans, guiding ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely, adhering to privacy regulations, and maintaining professional standards.
