Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.

  • Orders, interprets, and assesses diagnostic tests.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care.
  • Guides ancillary staff and maintains nursing standards.

    Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    The role requires adherence to confidentiality policies and regulatory standards to protect sensitive information.
