Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides patient care across various medical and surgical units, focusing on assessments, planning, implementation, and coordination throughout the care episode, including discharge transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care, collaborates on care plans, guides ancillary staff, and ensures professional nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
