The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides comprehensive patient care across various medical and surgical units, focusing on care coordination, assessments, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostics, and evaluating patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff to ensure quality nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
The role offers a salary range of $76,396.32 – $126,730.61, with shift differentials for day shifts.
Specialty experience spans units like step-down, cardiac, neurosciences, chemotherapy, rehab, stroke, and rapid response.
Must adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
