Job Description
The surgical nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, and manages patient care throughout the surgical episode, acting as the patient advocate and ensuring quality care in various settings.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, and documents procedures according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Minimum of 1-3 years of surgical RN experience preferred, with active RN license and BLS certification; CNOR preferred.
The role involves working in a state-of-the-art operating room with advanced technology, supporting a growing surgical program.
Must adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies related to sensitive patient information.
