Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Operating Room provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, with strict confidentiality and compliance needed.
