Job Description
This Vascular Surgery Night Nurse role involves assessing, planning, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Provides compassionate, competent care for patients with complex conditions like amputations and vascular wounds.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates with the team to create and follow individualized care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
This role requires adherence to privacy regulations and a focus on quality improvement.
