Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery unit assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge and transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care to inpatients, outpatients, and community patients.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound judgment, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Provides emergency and primary care for injuries and illnesses, including post-operative vascular patients.
Maintains certifications like BLS and ACLS, with prior nursing or PCA experience preferred.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, RN license, and continuing education for performance improvement.
