Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides compassionate, competent care to inpatients, outpatients, and community patients, coordinating with the caregiving team.
Cares for patients with complex conditions like amputations, vascular wounds, and blood flow restoration, with training in wound care, Vacs, and central lines.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, interprets diagnostic tests, and evaluates patient responses.
Assesses needs, applies sound judgment, provides emergency and primary care, and collaborates on care plans.
Requires RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and relevant experience; continuing education is encouraged.
Ensures confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations in handling sensitive information.
