Job Description
The Vascular Surgery – M5 Night shift position involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care for patients with complex vascular conditions, including amputations and wounds.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and relevant experience.
Minimum education includes a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and compliance with privacy regulations is essential.
