Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit provides compassionate care, implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
Assesses, evaluates, and responds to patient needs, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop and execute patient care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role involves ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with health information regulations.
