Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
Salary range is $76,396.32 – $126,730.61, with an hourly rate of $36.73 – $60.93.
