Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit works night shifts, providing compassionate care to patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to create care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications: graduate of a recognized nursing program, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Hourly pay ranges from $36.73 to $60.93. The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
