Job Description
The clinical Nurse provides compassionate care in the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in decision-making.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow patient care plans and directs ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
