Job Description
The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions within the acute care setting.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to create care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
