Job Description
This Emergency Department Clinical Nurse role involves assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transition.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute patient care plans, directs ancillary staff, and ensures quality standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and 1-3 years ED experience, preferably in a trauma or stroke center.
Requires certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC and ongoing education to improve performance.
The ED is a Level I Trauma Center serving diverse patients 24/7, with specialized zones and facilities, including pediatric, trauma, and rapid care areas.
