Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, coordination, and management throughout the care episode, focusing on discharge and transitions.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, and document appropriately.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborate with the team to develop and execute individualized care plans, guiding ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC).
Prefer 1-3 years of ED experience, especially in large trauma centers.
