Job Description

Li> The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
  • Ensures professional standards and maintains a safe, caring environment, respecting patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
