Job Description
The RN role on the Pulmonary, Renal, and General Medical Unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care to facilitate discharge and transitions within the hospital stay.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute personalized Plans of Care, guiding ancillary staff and ensuring professional standards.
Minimum qualifications are a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, valid NYS RN license, and BLS certification. Prior nursing assistance experience is preferred.
The 28-bed unit serves adult patients with pulmonary, renal, and medical diagnoses, including those receiving specialized therapies.
The position offers a salary range of $76,396.32 – $126,730.61, with an hourly range of $36.73 – $60.93, and requires adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards.
