Job Description
This RN position is based in the Pulmonary, Renal, and General Medical Unit (E5) in Albany, NY, with a day shift and salary range of $76,396.32 – $126,730.61.
Assess, plan, coordinate, and manage patient care throughout episodes of care, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, and interpret diagnostic tests.
Provide primary and emergency care for various medical conditions, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Ensure compassionate, competent care for a diverse patient population aged 18-90+, including those with pulmonary, renal, and medical diagnoses.
Qualifications include a NYS RN license, BLS certification, and relevant nursing education; previous experience preferred.
The 28-bed unit includes private and semi-private rooms, serving acutely and chronically ill patients.
The role involves handling sensitive information under strict confidentiality policies.
