Job Description
This RN role in the Pulmonary, Renal, and General Medical Unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff to ensure quality nursing standards.
Qualifications include a NYS RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
The unit is a 28-bed facility serving patients with pulmonary, renal, and medical diagnoses, ages 18-90+.
Salary ranges from $36.73 to $60.93 hourly, with a shift during the day.
