Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, recognizing the value of each team member’s work.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Hourly pay ranges from $34.65 to $35.69.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely, following privacy regulations, and ensuring access is limited to authorized purposes.
