Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Hospitalist (Night Shift) role involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care following regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administer medications as ordered and collaborate with the team to create patient care plans.
Guide ancillary staff and maintain professional nursing standards.
This role requires handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations, ensuring access is limited to necessary personnel and protected from unauthorized use.
