The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Conducts patient assessments and responds to care needs.
Uses sound judgment in patient care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
The role requires adherence to privacy regulations and protection of sensitive information.
