Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department works night shifts to provide compassionate patient care.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
The role emphasizes creating a caring environment, teamwork, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
