Job Description
The Clinical Nurse on the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist night shift provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care per regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administers medications, and collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care.
Leads ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Salary ranges from $76,396.32 to $126,730.61, with hourly rates from $36.73 to $60.93.
The role requires adherence to confidentiality policies, including protecting sensitive information per HIPAA and other regulations.
