Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department provides compassionate patient care, actively listening to patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to create patient care plans and guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
The role offers an hourly range of $36.73 – $60.93, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
