Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Neuro Progressive Care provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, evaluates responses, and applies sound nursing judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop and execute care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff, maintains professional standards, and documents treatments accurately.
Requires graduation from an approved nursing program, a valid NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or progressive care preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of quality improvement principles and adheres to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
