The clinical Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.

Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care per regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.

Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.

Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.

Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.

Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.

1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.

Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Adheres to confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information.
