Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist role involves assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and tests, and documenting care.
Evaluate diagnostic tests, assess patient needs, and apply sound nursing judgment in care decisions.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, and collaborate with the team to develop a Plan of Care.
Direct ancillary staff, ensure professional standards, and deliver compassionate, competent care to patients and referring facilities.
The position offers a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26, with hourly rates from $36.73 to $60.93, and requires adherence to confidentiality and regulatory standards.
