Job Description
Join the Critical Care Float Pool to gain experience across Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and MSICU, with opportunities to develop skills in Emergency Department and neuro-progressive care areas.
Provide patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting procedures.
Assess patient needs, interpret diagnostic tests, and apply sound nursing judgment for care management.
Offer primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating on care plans and guiding staff.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are required.
