Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Adult Cardiac Cath Lab provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document care according to policies and regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborate with the team to create patient care plans and guide ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN and telemetry or ICU experience. Continuing education and quality improvement knowledge are encouraged.
