Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care while following regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs and responses to care.
Uses sound judgment in patient management, providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with knowledge of quality concepts.
