Job Description
The Short Stay Surgical Department seeks a Clinical Nurse to provide compassionate patient care, collaborate with the team, and support the mission.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document appropriately.
Evaluate diagnostic tests, assess patient needs, and respond accordingly.
Apply sound nursing judgment in care management, provide emergency and primary care, and administer medications.
Develop patient care plans with the nursing team, guide ancillary staff, and uphold professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The role involves handling sensitive information according to privacy regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
