Job Description
The clinical nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs and responses, and applies sound nursing judgment in care decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow patient care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Must adhere to confidentiality policies, protecting sensitive information per regulations.
