Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, directing ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
