Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge planning and transitions.
Provides compassionate, competent care to inpatients, outpatients, and community patients, including those with complex vascular conditions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates with the team to develop and execute care plans.
Coordinates and guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience in nursing assistance.
Requires knowledge of quality improvement principles and adherence to confidentiality and regulatory standards.
